Forwarding Setup for Google Domains

Hey there!

If you're looking to redirect your secondary domain to your main one using Google Domains, I've got you covered. Let's walk through the steps together:

  1. Sign In to Google Domains: First, head over to your Google Domains account and log in.

  2. Select Your Domain: On your Domains page, find the domain you want to set up forwarding for and click on Manage.

  3. Access Website Settings: In the left-hand menu, click on Website.

  4. Set Up Forwarding: Look for the Forward Domain option and give it a click.

  5. Enter Your Main Domain: In the field provided, type in the URL of your primary website—the one you want visitors to be redirected to.

  6. Configure Advanced Options:

    • Redirect Type: Choose Permanent Redirect (301). This tells browsers and search engines that your domain has moved permanently.

    • Path Forwarding: Select Do not forward. This means only the main domain will forward, not any sub-pages.

    • Forwarding over SSL: Turn SSL On to ensure the forwarding is secure.

  7. Save Your Settings: Once you've filled everything out, click on Forward to save your changes.

And that's it! Now, whenever someone visits your secondary domain, they'll be automatically redirected to your main website. If you have any questions or run into any issues, feel free to ask. Happy redirecting!
