Hey there!
Ready to connect your Google account to Stamina? Let's walk through the steps together. It's simpler than it sounds, and I'll be here to guide you.
β
Step 1: Log into Stamina and Your Google Account
First things first, open Stamina in one browser tab and your Google account in another. Having both open will make the process smoother.
Step 2: Enable IMAP in Your Google Account
IMAP is like a bridge that lets Stamina and your email talk to each other. To check if it's on:
In Gmail, click on the gear icon (that's the settings) in the top right corner.
Select "See all settings."
Click on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
Ensure "IMAP Access" is enabled. If it's not, go ahead and turn it on.
Step 3: Set Up OAuth Access in Google Workspace
Now, let's make sure Stamina can connect securely:
In your Google Workspace Admin console, navigate to "Security" > "Access and data control" > "API Controls" > "Manage third-party app access."
β
βClick on "Configure new app" and select "OAuth App Name or Client ID."
You'll need Stamina's Client ID for this step. To find it:
In Stamina, go to add a new email account.
Choose "Google/G Suite."
Confirm that IMAP is enabled.
Opt for the "OAuth" method.
Copy the provided Client ID.
Paste this Client ID back in the Google Admin console and search.
When Stamina appears, mark it as "Trusted."
Step 4: Connect Your Google Account to Stamina
Almost there!
Return to Stamina.
Start the process to add your Google account.
When prompted, select your Google account or click "Use another account" if you don't see yours listed.
Follow the prompts to grant Stamina the necessary permissions.
And that's it! Your Google account is now connected to Stamina, making your workflow even more seamless.
