Hey there!

Ready to connect your Google Workspace email to Stamina? Let's walk through the steps together. It's simpler than it sounds, and I'll guide you all the way.

1. Turn On IMAP in Your Gmail

First, we need to make sure your Gmail is set to work with other apps:

  • Open your Gmail.

  • Click the gear icon (that's your settings) in the top right corner.

  • Choose "See all settings."

  • Find the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.

  • In the "IMAP Access" section, select "Enable IMAP."

  • Don't forget to click "Save Changes" at the bottom.

2. Set Up Two-Step Verification

This adds an extra layer of security to your account:

  • Go to your Google Account settings.

  • Click on the "Security" tab.

  • Find "2-Step Verification" and click "Get Started."

  • Follow the prompts to add your phone number and verify it.

  • Once done, make sure 2-Step Verification is turned on.

3. Create an App Password

Now, let's generate a special password for Stamina:

  • In the same "Security" section, look for "App passwords."

  • You might need to sign in again.

  • Under "Select app," choose "Mail."

  • Under "Select device," pick "Other (Custom name)" and type "Stamina."

  • Click "Generate."

  • A 16-character password will appear. Keep this handy; you'll need it soon.

4. Connect to Stamina

Almost there! Let's link your email to Stamina:

  • Log in to your Stamina dashboard.

  • Navigate to the "Email Accounts" section.

  • Click on "Add New" and then "Connect existing accounts."

  • Choose "Gmail/Google Workspace."

  • Confirm that IMAP is enabled.

  • Select the "App Password" option.

  • Enter your email address and paste the 16-character app password you generated earlier.

  • Click "Connect."

And that's it! Your Google Workspace email is now connected to Stamina. If you run into any hiccups or have questions, feel free to reach out. Happy emailing!
